Aluminium Condenser Anode in Rectangular Shape

Category:

Description

The most cost-effective option for preventing corrosion in salty water environments is the aluminum condenser anode. Its weight is lighter compared to magnesium and zinc anodes, yet it boasts significantly higher current efficiency in saltwater conditions.

This type of anode is manufactured with a galvanized steel pipe core, designed for easy installation on steel studs. It is widely utilized in cathodic protection applications for tank interiors, condenser water boxes, heat exchanger shells, chillers, and cooling water system tubes or tube sheets.

Quality Substrate Material

Formulated using high-purity alloys with low iron content, our aluminum condenser anode is engineered to comply with the GS EP COR 201 standard.

Low Driving Voltage

The aluminum condenser anode demonstrates consistent effectiveness in seawater and electrolytes with chloride ions due to its maintained operating potential ranging from -1.05 to -1.10 volts in relation to the saturated calomel electrode (SCE).

Customized Configurations

Below are examples of standard condenser anodes, but we also offer custom shapes, weights, and configurations upon request.

Technical Measurement Performance
Open Circuit Voltage (-V) 1.10 min.
Closed Circuit Voltage (-V) 1.05 min.
Current Capacity 1135 A.h/lbs (2500 A.h/kg)
Current Efficiency 90% min.
Consumption Rate 7.6 lbs/A·y (3.4 kg/A·y)

Much Lighter in Weight

The aluminum condenser anode has a lower density compared to zinc, resulting in a lighter weight and facilitating easier handling during installation.

Strict Quality Control

Our aluminum condenser anode is produced, examined, and tested following rigorous protocols to uphold superior quality, aligning with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
