Circular Zinc Anode for Elevated Temperatures

Traditional zinc alloys are prone to failure above 60°C due to intergranular corrosion, particularly in saline mud. Elevated temperatures induce passivation and polarity reversal, rendering standard zinc anodes ineffective or potentially damaging to the structures they are meant to protect.

High temperatures cause passivation and polarity reversal, making typical zinc anodes ineffective or even harmful to protected structures. Our specialized zinc anodes are engineered to withstand temperatures up to 90°C, ideal for hot liquid cargo tanks, subsea pipelines, and heat exchangers.
