Our magnesium hull anode is made from premium-grade magnesium alloy and meets the stringent specifications of the American standard ASTM B843 – AZ63C.

Custom-made Electro-potential Options
Our magnesium hull anode is typically die-cast using H-1 alloy to achieve a standard potential of -1.55 volts in relation to the saturated calomel electrode (SCE). Customers can request a high-potential magnesium anode as needed.

Optional Plastisol Coating
The magnesium hull anode is provided in either bare or plastisol-coated variants. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating applied to the sides, ends, and faying surfaces acts as an effective barrier against electrical currents, intended to be trimmed from the anode as necessary to modify surface area contact and current flow.
