Zinc rod: earthing cell with low resistivity backfill, dual unit packaging for structure and earthing device.



Known as an earthing cell, the zinc rod is often supplied in a cotton bag containing low-resistivity backfill. Typically, two zinc anode units are packed together — one connects to the protected structure, and the other links to an earthing device.

Quality Substrate Material
Crafted from special high-grade (SHG) zinc ingots boasting 99.995% purity, our zinc anode adheres to ASTM-B418 standards for Type I and Type II alloys. The elevated purity level enhances resistance against passive films, with Type I ideal for seawater or brackish water, and Type II suited for underground and freshwater use.

High Current Output
Our zinc earthing rod anode ensures uniform current density to the cathode. Its automatic current regulation prevents or amplifies stray currents. Achieving over 90% current efficiency, it complies with top industry norms.
