Aluminum Rigid Water Heater Anode Rod

Extend water heater lifespan with our Rigid Aluminum Anode Rods, combating interior corrosion effectively. Affordable and ideal for hard water conditions.

Description

Water heaters often face a common issue that reduces their lifespan: corrosion from the inside. The minerals in the water held within the tank can cause significant damage to the system by accumulating and corroding the steel surfaces. This process is accelerated by the high temperatures of the water, making it a serious concern for maintaining water heater durability.

Aluminum anode rods are known for their ability to undergo sacrificial corrosion at a slower pace compared to magnesium rods due to their lower voltage in the sacrificial process. This makes aluminum rods a cost-effective option, particularly for water heaters dealing with hard water that tends to accelerate corrosion processe.

Quality Substrate Material

Our pencil anode rod is made from premium aluminum and conforms to the ASTM AS2239-2003 A5 standard.

High Current Output
The unique design of our extruded magnesium pencil anode rod, with its high surface area and length compared to its cross-sectional area, enables it to carry a more substantial current per unit weight than conventional cast anodes. This increased current strength allows our anode rod to provide efficient protection to water heaters, even in environments with higher electrolyte resistivity.

Uniform Current Distribution

Featuring a slender steel core that spans the full length of the anode for structural reinforcement, this aluminum anode rod ensures consistent and effective current dispersion, promoting reliable and steady operation.

Easy Replacement
The anode rod is designed for easy replacement and should be inspected during each water heater tank drainage. Typically, anode rods should be changed when corrosion has utilized around 75% of the rod’s material. Our anode rod is anticipated to offer corrosion protection for up to a two-year period.

Strict Quality Control
Our aluminum anode rods are crafted following the guidelines set by ISO 9001:2015 standards. This means they undergo thorough manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes aligned with our rigorous quality control protocols, guaranteeing optimal functionality and reliability.

Customized Configurations
We have the flexibility to customize anode shapes and sizes according to specific requirements, ensuring that we can meet all desired specifications with ease.
