Durable Aluminum Rod for Water Heater Protection
KA series anode rods come in various sizes to suit different specifications, with options including rod diameters ranging from 0.63″ to 0.84″ and core diameters of 0.13″. The NPT sizes available include 1/2″ and 3/4″. These anode rods are designed for efficient and reliable performance in water heating systems.
Description
A common issue leading to shortened water heater lifespan is internal corrosion. The minerals in the water can accumulate and corrode steel surfaces, especially with high water temperatures.
Aluminum anode rods corrode at a slower pace compared to magnesium rods due to their lower sacrificial voltage. This makes aluminum rods a cost-effective choice for water heaters dealing with hard water.
Quality Substrate Material
Crafted from premium aluminum material, our pencil-shaped anode rod conforms to the ASTM AS2239-2003 A5 standard.

High Current Output
Our extruded magnesium pencil anode rod boasts a superior surface-to-length ratio compared to conventional cast anodes. This design enables it to provide enhanced current per unit weight, ensuring effective protection for water heaters even in environments with higher resistivity electrolytes.
Uniform Current Distribution
Featuring a slender steel core spanning the full length of the anode for reinforcement, this aluminum rod ensures consistent and effective current distribution, guaranteeing reliable and steady performance.
Easy Replacement
It’s recommended to inspect and replace the anode rod whenever the water heater tank is emptied. Typically, replacement is necessary when about 75% of the rod’s material has corroded. Our anode rod is designed to offer approximately two years of effective corrosion protection.
Strict Quality Control
Adhering to ISO 9001:2015 guidelines, our aluminum anode rods undergo rigorous manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes as part of our stringent quality control measures, ensuring optimal performance standards are met.
Customized Configurations
We have the flexibility to customize anode shapes and sizes according to specific requirements and preferences.
