Versatile Aluminum Anode Rod for Water Heaters
Our flexible anode rod is designed to fit Rheem, BWC, AO, STATE, and other ¾” NPT threaded water heaters, offering customizable options for length and threading upon request.
Description
Interior corrosion is a common issue that shortens the lifespan of water heaters. Harsh minerals in the water lead to buildup and corrosion on steel surfaces, especially in high-temperature environments.
Anode rods play a crucial role in preventing corrosion and leaks in water heaters. They release electrons into the water, diverting corrosive action away from the tank walls towards the anode rod. This process extends the life of the tank and heating pipes.
Our flexible aluminum anode rod, featuring four sections and attachment options of carbon steel wire or 301 stainless steel braided wire, is designed for tight spaces where rigid rods cannot fit. Ideal for confined areas like low ceilings, closets, attics, or basements, this linked-style magnesium anode rod is perfect for replacement scenarios.
Quality Substrate Material
We manufacture our premium flexible anode rod to comply with the Australian standard AS2239-2003 A5.

Segmented Design
The extruded rod offers superior machining precision compared to a cast rod. With a length of 45 inches and divided into four sections, it facilitates easier installation in confined spaces. Additionally, the product can be trimmed safely to suit the water heater’s dimensions.
Uniform Current Distribution
The anode rod is equipped with a central steel core that runs along its length, ensuring consistent and efficient distribution of current for reliable and stable performance.
Easy Replacement
Regular inspection of the anode rod is recommended each time the water heater tank is emptied. Typically, replacement is advised when corrosion has eroded roughly 75% of the rod’s mass. Our anode rod is designed to offer approximately two years of protection against corrosion.
Strict Quality Control
Our flexible anode rods are produced, inspected, and tested in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards, adhering to rigorous quality control measures to guarantee optimal performance.
Customized Configurations
This flexible anode rod is designed to fit seamlessly with Rheem, BWC, AO, STATE, and other standard ¾” NPT threaded solar or electric water heaters. Tailored segments, lengths, and threading options are also offered upon request.
