Anode rods are crucial in preventing this corrosion and extending tank life by diverting corrosive action away. Our flexible magnesium anode rod, with carbon steel or stainless steel wire, suits tight spaces where rigid rods can’t fit. It’s ideal for areas like low ceilings, closets, or basements, providing eco-friendly protection as magnesium dissolves naturally over time, leaving sediment.

Segmented Design
Compared with a cast magnesium rod, this extruded magnesium rod has better machining accuracy. The 45 inch long rod is hinged into four sections, allowing for easier installation in cases with limited access. The product can be safely cut to fit the water heater as required.
Uniform Current Distribution
The magnesium anode rod is designed with a steel core that extends along its entire length, ensuring even and efficient distribution of current for consistent and reliable performance.
Easy Replacement
The anode rod is readily replaceable and should be inspected during every water heater tank drainage. Typically, anode rods need replacement when roughly 75% of their mass has corroded. Our anode rod is anticipated to offer approximately two years of safeguard against corrosion.
