Dual-Strap Rectangular Magnesium Hull Anode

Enhance boat durability with our double-strap magnesium hull anode, defending against freshwater corrosion.

Category:

Description

Our magnesium hull anode protects steel boats from freshwater corrosion, offering a robust defense against stray current and pollution-induced corrosion. Featuring dual cast-in galvanized steel straps, it can be easily secured to submerged structures via bolting or welding.

Quality Substrate Material
Manufactured using top-quality magnesium alloy, our magnesium hull anode complies with the American standard ASTM B843 – AZ63C.

Custom-made Electro-potential Options
We typically utilize H-1 alloy for pressure die casting our magnesium hull anodes, achieving a standard potential of -1.55 volts concerning the saturated calomel electrode (SCE). Should you require it, we also offer high potential magnesium anodes upon request.

Technical Measurement Performance
Open Circuit Potential (-V) 1.5 ~ 1.55
Close Circuit Potential (-V) 1.45 ~ 1.5
Min. Current Capacity 550 A.h/lbs (1230 A.h/kg)
Current Efficiency 55% min.

Optional Plastisol Coating
Our magnesium hull anode comes in options of bare or plastisol coating. The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) coating acts as a robust current barrier and can be trimmed for surface area adjustment and current optimization.

Strict Quality Control
Adhering to ISO 9001:2015 standards, our magnesium hull anode undergoes meticulous manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes to guarantee superior quality.

Customized Configurations
Please note that weights and dimensions may vary due to natural fluctuations in material densities. While standard magnesium anodes are shown above, we also offer custom configurations upon request.
