Ships rely on seawater to cool their engines while sailing, but this can lead to a pesky problem: marine organisms sticking to the pipes and parts.
To keep the ship’s machinery clean and protected, we use a special system called electrolytic anti-fouling anodes combo. It’s like having a superhero that fights both fouling and rust!
Here’s how it works: We add a bit of copper into the water, which stops organisms from growing. It’s super effective, with over 95% success rate in keeping the ship clean.
And that’s not all! The system also forms a protective layer on the pipes, like a shield against rust. This keeps the pipes safe, with a corrosion rate of less than 0.03 mm per year.
So, with our special system on board, ships can stay clean, efficient, and sailing smoothly through the seas.
